BORDEN MILK PARTNERS WITH LOCAL MEDIA PERSONALITIES TO HOST ELSIE THE Cow ™S READING HOUR AT THE STATE FAIR OF TEXAS

Children mind to stories and receive complimentary milk, cookies, books and more

WHAT: Dallas-based Borden Milk and Reading is Fundamental (RIF) the oldest and largest nonprofit literacy system in the United States, take teamed upwards with local radio and tv set personalities to celebrate children'southward literacy at Elsie the Cow's Reading Hr. They hope to encourage children across the Metroplex to fuel up to exist smart with healthy eating and reading habits.

Media personalities will take turns reading books to local children while they enjoy fresh, local Borden Milk and cookies. The event is open to all Country Fair attendees, and the children will have their photos taken with Elsie the Cow and receive giveaways, including gratis books. Borden Milk and RIF representatives will also be available to respond questions well-nigh reading, milk and Elsie the Cow.

WHY: The ability to read is an essential tool for success, merely illiteracy is still widespread amid today's youth.   Through this outcome, Borden Milk and RIF promise to help children empathise that reading is more than just words on a page " it can, and should exist, interactive and fun.
